WHAT WE BELIEVE

SALVATION

We are born into sin. All mankind needs to be saved.

Mankind is sinful

Romans 3:23 tells us, “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.”

Romans 5:12 tells us, “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:”

God is Love

John 3:16 tells us, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Romans 5:8 tells us, “But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

Accept God’s Free Gift

Romans 10:9 tells us, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”

Romans 10:13 tells us, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

If you believe God’s Word, then pray this prayer:

Dear Lord Jesus, I believe you died for my sins and were raised from the dead. Please forgive me and allow your Holy Spirit to reside in my life from this day forward. Amen.

BAPTISM

Baptism is a ceremony symbolizing a believer’s new relationship with Christ

Baptism should follow a belief in Christ. (Acts 2:41)
• It symbolizes a Christian’s union with God. (Matthew 28:19-20)
• It symbolizes a Christian’s cleansing from sin. (Acts 22:16)
• It symbolizes a Christian’s death, burial, and resurrection with Christ. (Romans 6:3-4)
• It symbolizes a Christian’s pledge to live a godly life. (1 Peter 3:21)

Baptism is to be done by immersion (Matthew 3:16)
In baptism by immersion, one’s body is completely under water and then lifted out of the water.

DEDICATING YOURSELF TO GOD

Study the Bible

2 Timothy 2:15 declares, “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”

Pray

Philippians 4:6 declares, “Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.”

Join a church

Hebrews 10:25 declares, “Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.”

Share Christ with others

Mark 16:15 declares, “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.”
